More nations is a definite selling point, once localization is complete. The outlaw was proposed time and time again, Black Flag pirate nation vs Red Flag outlaws, it was never tested. They would make a killing just on custom clan flags and paints via dlc. Civil war would be hard to implement, green on green would get abused. Any unique mechanic in this game always gets abused for some reason, so I understand why devs are weary of it. There are many good ideas on how to improve the game experience, but the elephant in the room is lack of content which leads to very low player base (excluding alts).

Good to see the mudslinging is the main content still. Left the game because of toxicity. So much salt. If we can somehow convert this forum to ingame pvp/rvr this would be a good game. Still waiting for better times. Carry on gentleman.

Players already hava a choice. Join new nations, Prussia Poland Russia do not have safe zones, or if you want one stay in old nations. Players vote with nation population. So majority seems to want a safe harbour, right or wrong.

So small nation are done. They will never have the numbers. Futhermore you are forcing small nations to fight each other due to the border rules, or pick on the largest nation. Its a lose lose proposition. Unfortunatelly I do not have good solution. I applaud you for trying to fix this, but the whole idea of conquest is fundamentally flawed right now. I actually would like to try Devs newest idea of clan wars. It works great in EVE. It would limit RVR impact on small nations.

Would it be OK for two allied fleets to do this? Lets say Danes and Dutch, or GB and US? Alliances are gone, but there are still allied nations. So 25 allied screeners tag 25 allied first rates. Should we stop all tagging before PB?

Pirates did adjust their tactics, you did not, you still playing pre wipe game. Pirates won due to unpreparedeness of screening fleet, you expected same old kite game, instead you had a battle you could have joined. You had a GB basic cutter pinpointing a position of the fight. No british players elected to join the fight. Lack of planing? Cowardice? Who knows. In the end a rag tag smaller force won. Do beter next time. GB had superior numbers of equal ships in PB. GB had fort protection. And folded, acording to your own fleet leader after first two ships were sunk it was over. At that point fleets were equal and GB could have pressed the wind advantage, but instead gave up. Smaller force won. Watch the video. See the pattern yet? There was nothing new in Pirate tactics. It was used before time and time again by national fleet defensive tags of npc fleets, and pirates on PVP EU. BLACK executed it well, it is no small deal btw, takes time and practice. You know the whole planing ahead, evading enemy, timing it perfectly thing, otherwise known as tactics and strategy. Ends justifies the means. They won, you lost. Get over it. Grind it up and try again if you dare.

Do you a have a historical example of 4-5 light frigates keeping a fleet of line ships form entering a battle? Or a Ship of the line battle when frigate won? In Naval Action, any competent captain of a light frigate can decimate a first rate. Its a game, get over it. Spare the Naval Academy stuff. Game availible mechanics only.

What skills would that be exactly? The ones that available in game please, save the Naval Academy stuff for real world, game skill only for the group of 30-35 to overcome the group of 70-75. I am all ears.

GB do not battle during screening, they grief. This is the proof. Outlaw battle is open for all to join for the whole duration. How many screeners joined and kept Pirate fleet tagged? Exactly, zero, nada, zilch. Tagging over and over again without battling is griefing. Tagging and fighting is screening. Game is broken right now, so griefing is what GB calls screening.

Can we please stop polluting this with opinions? This is suggestions thread, of course we can dissagree, post your own suggestion. It is easy to thrash other people without providing a suggestion/solution. We all have different ideas on what needs to be fixed. Lets be constructive and let devs decide.

1 Fix RVR fleet griefing before and after PB. Defenders already have an advantage. Atackers have an uphill battle. Lets have some good 25x25 fight finally. Why are we so bent on preventing it? We should encourage large PB. When else do I get to fight a real SOL battle of skill? Strategy, tactics, ship builds and teamwork do not matter whe half the fleet gets griefed outside the PB. 2 Fix OW griefing. I do not mind loosing a good fight (ok I do, but its is a game of skill and I learn from my mistakes), but this constant griefing got to stop. Not everyone can spend all night being tagged, just like with recently killed tag, create recently tagged tag, after 2 tags in one hour you become untaggable/cannot tag for 10 minutes. Or any other of many suggestions with speed and invisibility adjustments 3. Too many permits, marks, bp, etc etc etc. Make it simple. Just like real economy, money buys everything. Make regions produce gold and labour hours instead of Conquest marks. Most on the server will never see Conquest mark and never sail a superfrigate or SOL. It is not fair to those who play differently then big clan members.

I would buy your argument if you were not at war with US. We can both rationalize our actions, but it does not change the reality on the ground. I am just saddenned that the worst predictions came to be. French being redused to nothing by GB and Dane alliance is just cherry on top. There are clan agreements between some clans in different nations. Pirates did not screen, BLACK did. No you send a fleet to fight for US. So this is in effect alliance between US and GB. The one you personally promissed would never happen. We are right back to pre wipe mega alliance of GB US Dutch. The nations that control 3/4 of the server and bitch and moan about everyone else exept themselves. When the server split was done this was predicted, including breaking of every promise both GB and US made, to stop the Pirate menace of course. I do not have a problem with any nation helping any other. I do have problems with liars. I use to regret you guys leaving EU server.
