Except updates are so few and far between, that most will be near max rank again by the time the first or second update comes. So what exactly would you be testing, people's patience?
That's not a good thing when you're about to split the player base. This way you'll screw one of the groups over; either the PvP1 players going to Global, or PvP1 going to EU.
The general point of having XP is so that new players follow some sort of learning curve by upgrading ships gradually. Requiring every veteran to grind experience for weeks just to get back into a decently sized ship is ludicrous.
Uhh.. The very first point of your announcement clearly states you need to sink a ship to have the XP synced. Many won't do that and will rage at you afterwards.
You might be unemployed (or not going to school), but in the rest of Europe we usually get off work around 17:00 (which would generally be 16:00 server time). So no, there won't be enough players to consistenly defend against the Russian church flips.
No, but they are able to flip ports earlier than 17:00 server time, at which we cannot form a (proper) defense. Take away the Americans and the Russians will rule the server.
