US pulled a flag on Salina Point and won the port battle. (4/30/16) I then was able to dock in the port after the battle which is where I logged out for the night. I then logged in the next morning and the port was still owned by the pirates with me, a US player standing in port. (5/1/16).

Maybe some missions. Esp co op based missions allowing us to play and coordinate as a group. Simplified Econ and trade giving us something to do other than constant sailing and combat. Ship customization would be nice. Society or clan options would be great for us to start collecting members and so forth.

I definitely agree with this. Needs to be adjustable and we need a visual detail of some sort.

I would think they at least have it started or the concept / mechanics figured it out. I hope so anyways. I wanna play this game so badly.

We have all seen pics and videos of combat. Some of us have even tested the combat. But how much developing or work if any, has gone into other game elements. Lots of us are interested in RvR or the econ of the game.

POTBS is my favorite of all time. But NA will be replacing that I am sure. I like the direction they are going with the realism and all.

I agree with Johnny, it would be fun to sail around in game.

Update press space bar to fire a single cannon

Select survival crew focus as this will speed up repairs.

Trying to figure out how to fire one cannon to see if I have range before wasting a salvo. Does anyone know how to do so?

I thought the ship combat was fun, yes dumbed down for realism but effective. The boarding felt true as can be and was a blast. (assassin's creed IV)

You can always break out the original Sid Meier's Pirates. Still fun to play!!! But I know that this game will be record breaking and it will become my number 1 favorite.
