  1. The game has awesome graphics. However two pet peeves: Occasionally, AI ships will sail through land masses. Don't know if this a result of how their routes are plotted or whether there is no programming to prevent. Either way its distracting. Night falls suddenly. Rather than the gradual shifting of hues and light which occur throughout the day, when midnight falls, there is a sudden change in coloration and lighting--plus sometimes there a visible blocks of the screen that do not change at the same time as others.
  2. I purchased a Wasa note. When I converted it, it asked for frame and planking types, which I thought was strange since I hadn't started the crafting process. When I go to Craft/Ships, the Wasa is not there. Frustrating as the combat marks were valuable. Is there any way to get it back?
  3. Thanks guys. This helps. A video would be nice so you don't find yourself in the midst of a port battle without a clue what to do.
  4. Didn't really answer the basic question. What keyboard key do you use to fire mortars? Since canons are also on the starboard side, a mouse click or space bar will simply fire the cannons.
  5. How do you aim and fire the mortars on the mortar brig? In combat, they are not listed with the cannons. I tried "m" but that only brought up the fleet map and there didn't seem to be any way to aim or fire from that screen. Presuming they do actually fire, do they fire one at a time or both at once? In aiming, do you aim at the target or choose an angle of trajectory? How does one tell how the reload process is coming?
  6. Yes, I agree with "walking the wharves." That's what I meant by being "in port." If the devs concerns are "too many to list" perhaps there should be a certain limit per port on the number of outposts permitted at each port. After all, dock space had limits. Might result in players having to utilize many of the ports which are now seldom used.
  7. It would seem to be helpful for strategic and tactical reasons to know who all owns outposts in a particular port. Would it not be possible to view such a list when you are in that port?
  8. I own a teak forest production building. It has amassed the maximum number of logs (600). I am, however, unable to access them. There are no logs in warehouse. I can't create a contract to sell any. Going to Craft/Resources shows the possibility of crafting logs, but shows 46 gold in yellow to produce four logs (thus, the Craft button is not highlighted and I am unable to produce any). I have sufficient gold (200k) and labor hours (1200+). I have 136 gold in the warehouse. I can't find 46 of anything gold related anywhere. What am I missing?
