Well, if that's the official opinion I won't push the issue too much farther, but I will say one last bit.
MMOs need a critical mass of players to survive. If you start losing people, then you quickly hit a death spiral of people quitting because there aren't enough people around. If your code of conduct was as simple as don't be a dick, then you wouldn't need that big list of items describing it. Some of the stuff, like swearing being fine but too much swearing being banable, just isn't something people are going to come into the game expecting. Some people will read your list and not care two shits, but other people will actually try to not get banned if they know what to be careful about. It's those people you put it in-game for, because each of them that sticks around is a little farther away you get from that death spiral.
