With current way the Game is taking. I fear we will fairly soon not have any Wars at all anymore. Simply not enough Player for Wars to make sense.

The Above to be Honest. No offense intended. But a Game is meant to be a *leisure* activity. If it ends up being a Pain it has Failed. Take a guess why the Servers are so Empty...
  3. Well as Title says. Currently you cant use Admirality as these Nations on PvE Server.... So either give them some Ports or remove them so Players cant Join them in the First Place.

Add Prussian/Russian/Polish Ports to PvE Server

Think you guys can Sneak that In with one of the Hotfixes anytime soon?

Having 4 Slices would not be so Bad. You still get 33% of that Pizza. Not the most satisfying Meal. But you still get by with it... But currently this Game is nowhere near having 4 Slices . We maybe got 10% of the Population we need for the Game to have a Future. And this Population is dropping even further. We got one Slice Left Mate. And that Slice is becoming smaller and smaller.

    1. Given that your the one demanding that others adjust their leisure time for the Game its somehow hilarious how you immediately deny any quedtion of yours. And thats the thing Mate. In the Global Picture we lost 60% of the Playerbase. So apparently the Game doesnt work for the vast Majority. And since People wont adjust themselves to the Game. We either have to adjust the Game or the Game will Die. As simple as that 2. Yes. And thats exactly the Problem. If the Game places no Restrictions on RPKing. You will deplete the Playerbase very fast. Which is whats happening here. So these need to be Changed or the Game will Die. We know its not against the Rules right now. Thats why we complain. And thats also why finding PvP has become nearly impossible. 3. NPC Attacks, Higher Prices for Repair and Crew, Lower Reward Gain, Neutral and Freeports denying Dock and Repairs. Rabdom Chance of Enemys getting Reinforcements. There is alot of Options. After all. If the Admirality knows that Captain us an Honorable Man killing Enemies that are Powerful Warships. In the Waters around an Contestef Port. They might give him Extra Rewards for his Service. While that Guy they know is usually only killing smallfry, civillians and Coast Vessels in an area they dont even plan to Attack might get a Paycut on his Rewards. Needless to say. That if Large Patrol Fleets Spot someone who made a Name Harassing your Nation. They might decide to Hunt him down. A Free Trading Port might not be willing to allow someone everyone hates into the Port *gg* And Crew might be pretty Unwilling to Hire onto a Ship whose Commander is known to be ruthless Enough Options really.

The PvE server deserves a name too

  8. Different Update for the PvE Server ? PvE Server is still on Update while PvP Server is Finished. PvE Server getting something different ?

Mate No Offense. But then you would never turn on the Game. Because if you got Children you never can be sure nothing happens. Children aint some Side Job. Where once your Shift is over dont need to worry about it anymore. So that "little parenting tip" feels rather insulting to any Parent and might (sorry to put it blunt) throw a very Bad Light on you in case you are a Parent yourself. Just saying. Back to Topic. The Problem we have in the Game. Is that we have a Giant Map. And very few Players to Fill it. Thanks to the Griefer and RPK Mob which Cried to the Devs until they removed the Safezones over a year ago. Almost 60% of the Playerbase has left the Game after it became impossible to leave Port without being Ganked all the time. The Devs by now have reeled back a little. And reintroduced Safezones a few Months ago albeit much smaller. But while the Population had actually started to Recover. The RPK and Griefer Mob which had nothing left to Pester. Was crying again. And since what little was left of the Palyerbase barely moved out of the Safezones anymore. The Devs decided to Shrink Safezones into such small Bubbles that very often even the Missions Spawn outside the Safezone. Resulting in the RPKs now Camping the Safezone and Farming New Players that do not know the exact Boundaries and thus Drive out of the Safezone for their Missions. The Server has become a Cesspool of Gankers and Griefers. Were PBs are often Empty or only Filled by Third or Half of the Required Players. And where Finding PvP now Takes Hours. Because with all the Ganking Squads nobody actually Roams the Sea anymore. Lets Face it. We need to move away from PvP being available everywhere. We either need to Introduce a proper Karma System and Penalties for Randomly Killing People and for Ganking People which dont even got half your Fighting Power. Or we need to completely Remove the Idea of PvP being the Standard. And allow Players to Sail the World without being Forced to PvP. For example by Enabling PvP Flags only when having a certain Amount of Trade Goods in your Ship. Unless we do that. The Population will Continue Dropping like Flies. And the PvP will become less and less until it entirely Dissappears together with the remaining Population.

Keyword is Population. The Map is set for an Population of 4000-5000 Players Online. Not for 400-500 we got.....
  11. Thats why I dont consider RPKs as PvP Players ^^ The reason they dont play Legends is because there they cant gang rape players that have vastly weaker Ships
  12. The one Keeping up the Dead Speech is you Mate. You refuse to reason and Stay on your Point like Petrified. Unable to Compromise or even Accept a Viewpoint thats even just slightly different from yours But thats a Different Story. See Mate. The last point you mention is the Key here. Because Unfortunately thats not the Case. To begin with there is barely any Pure Solo or Pure Group Players. Most Players just do a Majority of their things either Group or Solo. And the Fact is. The Vast Majority prefers to Spend 6 of their 10 Hours in a Game Solo. Which is not Surprising because Groups require a common Consense on what to do. Which is not always happening. So Players will Talk in Teamspeak and be Part of a Group but not actually work together all the Time. The thing that you call Solo PvPer in a Hardcore Environment barely Exists. They are an incredible small Niche Group. For the Plain reason that you could joke about them requiring an Masochistic Streak. Because Playing Solo PvPer in an Hardcore Environment basicly means. That you Play to Die and Lose 99% of the Times and dont consider that Frustrating. And that Streak is incredible Rare as 99% of the People will in this Situation just be Frustrated and Leave. And here is the Problem. Right now. The Environment creates exactly that. An Situation were being Alone is a Death Penalty. Playing alone is not Fun for 99% of the Players. And since 80% of the Players do not have a Group to be with at all times. They will limit their Playtime to the time where this Group is available and if no Group is available they will Stop Playing entirely. Which is why the Facts Disagree with you here. Cause if you Check the Numbers even if we Disregard the Hype of the First few Months. The Game has lost roughly 60% of its Playerbase. (Most of it when they removed Safezones entirely) And the Numbers keep Dropping. A Week ago the Loss for the last 30 Days was about 50 People. Now its risen to 80 People and its rising further. We can Argue about Viewpoints all Day. And you can Stubbornly Stand there and Refuse to Accept Reality. But neither Reality nor the Statistics are Impressed by your Stubborness to Refuse Accepting them. So the Player Numbers Drop Further. The Servers got Merged and the Numbers have barely Improved for one Server and have actually Decreased when Viewing the Big Picture. Long Story Short. Your First Mistake is that you assume that Players will Adapt to the Environment regardless of how bad it is. And that you will thus its just a Question of the Players trying it right. And getting the Right Players. Which leads us to your Second Mistake that you believe that there is roughly Equal amounts of Players for any Environment and that each of them can basicly Run the Game alone. And thats not the Case. Players have no Obligation to Adapt to the Environment. If its not Fun to them they Leave. Thats all there is to it. And the "Hardcore Open World no Rules needed" Players are an incredible small Niche which has throughout the History of Gaming always Failed to Provide enough Players for even a Single Game to Survive longer than but a few Years So if you want a Game to Survive you either Adapt it far enough that the Players will have Fun Playing it. Or you Fail.
  13. Now that one is not the Case. No Offense Intended on you. But I made the Effort to actually measure this out. And the Current Safezones are 17km Radius. Missions with a few Exceptions Spawn around 20-25km Generally to do Missions inside Safezone you have to be Lucky that the Missions Spawns very Close. Funny but True. In many Cases even inside the Captial Area you cant even get from one port to the next without passing an hostile area This is very Far Away from being like the PvE Server. The Bigger Problem however is that this in the First Place is not really a Good System. Because lets think about this again. PvE Players want to Explore and Achieve stuff. (Grinding NPCs or Trade to become Rich to Craft and whatever other PvE Content we ever get) PvP Players want to Fight Enemy PvP Players RPKs want to Raid non PvP Players But in Current System ? PvE Players are Unhappy cause the small Zones they got are not really Satisfying their Playstyle. PvP Players are Unhappy cause they got a Giant Zone of Empty Water where its hard to Find anyone else to Fight properly. And where they cant control the Area which results in Fights being 99% Ganking and Griefing rather than actual PvP. RPKs are Uhappy cause there is barely any Targets. Mostly Preying on lone PvPers that wanted to Fight and end up Ganked and lone PvEers that wanted to Trade. Lets Face it. With this System all we do is Force People to always stay in a Large Group and not be able to Play unless their Group is Online and with them. So many Players just dont Play at all. Most Games actually just use a System where 2 of these 3 Factions are Happy. The 2 Largest Factions. PvE and PvP Of course we could aim for a Perfect System where all 3 are Happy as well. But in any case the current System is not Good. And no Offense but the System that you Proposed before would result in only RPKs being Happy. And even that only for a Short Time cause short after the Game would Die as all other Players Leave. Doing a System where PvPers and PvEers are Happy is Fairly Easy. You simply make most of the Map Safe. Creating War Zones where PvPers can Fight each other to their Hearts Content. Thing is RPKs are Unhappy with this cause it means they have a Hard time Hunting for Prey. Because in the PvP Zones there will be lots of Fighters so Ganking is Risky. And the PvEers wont go into these Zones. A System for all 3 to be Happy is way Harder One Option would be a System Similar to Silkroad. In Short we make it so that there is Dedicated PvP Zones. And Remaining World is PvE except certain Conditions are Met. For example having a certain Value Threshold in your Cargo Hold or you (or your Group) passing a certain Value of BR will Flag you for PvP Which means that you can remain PvE over the Entire Map as long as you keep an eye out not to pass these thresholds. While of course alot of the Fast Lanes to Money like Farming Fleets or doing Profitable Trade Routes would Flag you for PvP. Giving Players and Risk Reward Option. Where Just Playing the Game for some small scale Trade and doing normal NPC Hunting and Missions can be done Purely PvE. But where Flagging yourself for PvP will offer Faster ways to Gain alot of Ressources and Money. Thus Creating Opportunities for everyone without Forcing anyone into anything. Thing is Mate. The one System which will NEVER Work. Is the Hardcore all in one Direction System that you apparently Want. Because again. Players Play for Fun. They have the Choice to be here or not. If you try to Force them into being Content for Others they will Simply not Play the Game. Because its not Fun. Extreme Systems only Catering to one of the Three Player Groups will Always Result in the Game going Dead. (Except the PvE Group assuming you can provide a constant Stream of additional Content for them as then you can keep em alone but even that is really hard cause then you need to create new Content for them all the Time)

    Prussia,Russia,Poland Why?

To begin with the Game is an Alternate History. It would not make sense for it to be 100% Historical as then any Conquest etc would be wrong as well. Needless to say we would all sail around on small Boats and maybe 1 or 2 British Players would ever get a 3rd Rate to Drive around
  15. The Roadmap said something about PvE Content. And in General the PvE Server needs some Work to Function Properly Is there any Information on whats Planned in terms of PvE Content and when we might Expect it ? Also does anyone know something if there is Plans to Fix the Situation on the PvE Server with there being most Ports Neutral etc etc ?
  16. Oh I am not denying they exist. I just asked you if you checked the Playernumbers lately. You See Mate. Its all nice that some Groups can enjoy Ganking Sessions. Unfortunately this results in everyone else leaving the Game. As I said above. You wont get Solo Players to join a Group. They Play Solo or they dont Play at all. If Solo is not Enjoyable they Leave. And the Majority is Solo Players I dont know what Target these Groups you name have. But unless its the Target to end up Sitting on an Empty Server and Play with themselves. Its not going to work out if we dont change things
  17. Group of 100 People.... Have you Checked the Playernumbers lately ? Thats were this Multiplayer *Nature* is driving the Game.

    Remove random ships from ports

Mate it IS a problem. Because NOBODY will CRAFT these Ships. Because New Players DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THEM You seem to somehow think that if you can make Orders Globally then the Players will actually get a Ship almost Instantly. But thats not the Case. Because not only is there far too few Crafters for that to ever Work. But also because why would a Crafter waste his Valuable Ship Parts to Build 4 Navy Brigs to new Players for 50k each. When he can instead Build a Rattlesnake Heavy and Sell it for 800k The Reason why Crafters Build only Big Ships. Is because New Players cannot actually Pay the Insane Prices for Ships. New Players cant just pay a few hundred thousand for their next Ship. So no Crafter bothers Building Stuff for them. And this wont Change if there is no NPC Ships Sold. Why do you think any Crafter would ever bother Filling the Order of some Noob which can barely Pay the production Price and will still go bankrupt from it. When he can instead fill the Order of some Veteran Player who has more Money than he could ever use and doesnt mind Paying 5 times the Production Price ? The Answer is he would not. The New Players would Wait for a New Ship for Weeks until some Crafter either takes Pity on them and Builds the Ship for him.

    Remove random ships from ports

Mate the Problem is not the Ordering of Ships I would Agree to this Part of the Suggestion any and every Day. The Problem is the other part of your Suggestion. "Remove all Random NPC Sold Ships" Because these NPC Sold Ships are currently the only reason many non Clan Players have a Ship at all And I am not Interested in waiting Days to get an Order for a Ship Filled. I am currently Sailing a Frigate because I have been waiting for 2 Days now to get a Crafter in Chat which might Build me a Trinco As so far the only Crafters I found would be on the other end of the Map And if not for these Random Ships. I would currently still Sail a Basic Cutter. Because so far the only Ship I ever Bought from a Player was a Le Gros Ventre which was Captured not Crafted Not because I would not want to Buy a Ship from a Crafter. But because even basic Ships are so Goddamn Expensive when Crafters Sell them. That it would take me 2 Weeks to get the Money together for Buying one
  21. So. After quite a while. I decided to Finally actually bother with the Crafting System. Thing is. For Crafting you need Ressources. And apparently by far not all Ressources can actually be Produced by Buildings. One example being Teak Wood. Now People told me to drive to a Port and Buy it. I can Instant Buy it by giving a Buy Order with x times the production Price. Except it doesnt work. Hence. Someone pls Explain to me how this actually Works. How do I get Teak Wood in larger Quantities. And what does the Dots for A-P-C Mean.

Add Prussian/Russian/Polish Ports to PvE Server

That would work as well. So I am all for it. Albeit I am not sure why it would be a Problem to just give some of the Neutral Ports to the 3 New Factions on PvE Server. There is alot of very Empty Room on the PvE Server with no Factions being Settled there. So it should not pose such a Big Problem ?

What does the A-P-C Dots mean for Ports

How much Time before a Port decides to Drop 1 Batch of Materials ?

    Searching hours for PVP

I will always agree on OW Content in any and all Forms. While I am not so sure about this creating better PvP. I am absolutely sure that additional Content would Improve the Population at least. As for the Population. Well the First Step towards Population would be to actually allow New Players to get a Foot in the Door. One good Start would be to give Newbe Protection to not allow Involuntary PvP until your at least Post Captain (350 Crew Rank) and can Field a Frigate capable of actually Fending for itself. A Second Importand thing would be heavily pound down on Griefing and Ganking. In General it should not be Possible to Attack anything thats less than 70% of your own BR. (Albeit BR First needs to be Fixed and include Upgrades etc for this first) But most of all I actually think a Similar System to Silkroad would really be a Great Idea here. In Effect Smaller Ships and Trade Ships cant be Attacked unless they actually Carry Goods beyond a Certain Threshold. This would result in PvE Players and New Players being Fairly Safe from Ganking and Griefing unless they are actually a Worthwhile Target carrying something to Pirate. So Empty Basic Cutter or Basic Cutter that has a few Tons of Fish ? Cant be Attacked. Basic Cutter carrying an Note or Skill Book for a High level Crafting Receipt ? Can be Attacked Navy Brig carrying nothing or carrying some Basic Loot from an NPC worth not even 20k Gold ? Cant be Attacked. Navy Brig carrying Trade Goods from Port A to B worth 50k Gold and possibly 150k Gold in the Target Location ? Can be Attacked. Because no Offense. But lets Face it. 3 Frigates Killing a Navy Brig has nothing to do with PvP. And in 9 out of 10 cases its not even Piracy but simply Griefing... This would go a Long way towards actually increasing Population. ..... Just do me a Favor and dont go hunting New Players in a Ganking Squad or actually in General.... You might Earn PvP Marks when you use your Indefatigable to kill some Noob in a Surprise. But if you tell me that you consider that PvP I would rather you found no PvP in this Game....
