  1. Not that its relevant to this post, but care to elaborate and explain why?
  2. As we all know as we rank up your crew increases, this due to the crew sizes can and does make some ships redundant, for example at post captain rank you have 350 crew so the best ship to have IMO is the Indefatigable and at flag captain it jumps to 650. Which is then when you can sail a Bellona. This in my opinion makes all 4th rates except the WASA pointless. My suggestion is to introduce a way to still be within a rank but be able by some method to increase your crew at maybe specific xp points. This I think would make most ships valid again. I am speaking from the PVE server point of view. Not played on pvp for a long while. It's just that the ship progression seems to be almost fixed, cutter, Heavy Rattlesnake or Snow, Cerberus, Surprise, indefatigable, Wasa, Bellona, then vic. Most even avoid the Cerberus and go straight to the surprise. Its just that with so many other ships available, some way to make them useful again would be nice. Any thoughts?
  3. A question regarding the PVE server Only, would it be possible to allow enemies to join the same groups/battle groups? Since being enemies on that server serves no purpose.
  4. Just a thought on the PVE server, at present hostility can't be raised or lowered, port battles don't happen etc. So ports never change hands. Perhaps it should be made so ports could change hands by raising hostility to 100% at all ports within a region. This hostility could also be countered in the same way as on pvp, by doing missions in an area that hostility is being raised. It would give some meaning to missions other than xp, it would also allow players to fight ships that don't always have the pirate flag, that would in its self be a novelty, and also give easier access to some of the rarer goods. Or perhaps even have port battles but against AI, having the AI numbers/BR match that of the joining PVP Players? There is a way to increase interest, and it's your job Dev's to find it Good luck!
  5. IMO there should be nothing in any multiplayer gaming environment that requires a particular player to change the status of something in game. As what happens if the said person just decides not to play anymore? He/she won't come on specifically to close off nicely. It's like port capture window timers, as far as I am aware they can only be changed by the person who set them, Now since the specific person has now moved server, we have many port timer windows at ridiculous times, but apparently there is nothing that can be done about that?
