Things were just starting to get good for the Pirates, Britain, France, Sweden, and anyone else sailing around Hispanoila, which is why British players switching to PvP1 pisses me off. There was about to be a lot of action every night, and there still will be, but it won't be as even with British players leaving. Action was coming to Britain's gates and they certainly had enough big ships and players to meet it, but instead... they leave?

I'd also ask that we refrain from hypocrisy.

If that were to happen you'd outnumber us even more so and this game's health (or lack thereof) would be even more apparent.

These guys are no good. They are constantly abusive in chat and are a general nuisance. One of them said he's 28 but he acts like he's 20 years younger than that.

At this point Britain has twice as many active players attacking the US as we have defending it. You can see that by the port victories going up Cuba right now- we're barely able to hold you back. I think the whole "US is unstoppable zerg" theory has had holes poked in its hull and sank. The competing theory "British are unstoppable zerg" seems closer to reality.

The problem is that there isn't an organized coalition in the US right now. The clan leaders aren't coordinating very much, it's mostly individual relationships. I know the people involved in those ports and it's MOB not SoL. MOB are good folks and I doubt they realized the French were using them to shipbuild - in fact I talked to them and they just said there were a handful of French random players up there.

I never considered that the French really had Louisiana/Texas. Sure... they technically owned those ports but I didn't think anyone was home up there since it's as far away from their capital as you could go. We're really just taking back America here to save Thomas Jefferson some money. We're really not at war with the French in my opinion, I hope they aren't offended with us taking their empty ports. I would love to ally with them if the opportunity was ripe. Also, we totally figured pushing the pirates out would put us up against Britain. It's been super fun so far, I don't regret it. More PvP than you can shake a stick at.

My point is that the the US isn't the only "zerg" faction but it's being branded as such. The Brits are at least equally a zerg faction, but I understand it's convenient for you to have that excuse when you get beaten by us. Exhibit A:

You guys are delusional if you think US are the zerg. Britain is fighting toe to toe with us... just look at some of the battle screenshots that SoL posts. there are like 25 SoB guys against a smaller number of SoL guys. Difference is, SoL are very organized and serious so they can PvP with a smaller force. I'm in USS and while we have a decent number of people on, we are now outnumbered against the Brits in the southern bahamas. You know why we're winning? Because they are in 4+ separate clans and can't coordinate as well as we can. The Brits are the real zerg, and anyone that says otherwise hasn't fought them or the US yet so you wouldn't know. I've got nothing against them, I just hate this anti US talk around here. The US = a few very organized clans that have a reasonable number of good players and a ton of PvE people up the East coast doing admiralty missions/f*ck all.

I think we learned a lot with Little Inagua. Next time won't be as easy...

Being in the USS and operating primarily on the east side of Cuba- it's nice knowing we've got one of the most formidable groups in the game covering the other end. Nice work on the papers as well - can't wait to see what you guys do with 2nd rates.

Meanwhile in our US clan, everyone is helping each other out and our crafters are refusing to let us overpay for ships (trincs btw)...
