Regardless of that I see no reason why you wouldn't be allowed to use the Swedish teamspeak provided you are actually in the Swedish faction, perhaps you would be relegated to the public channels if you are apparently so severely anti-Sweden. Just remember rule 1 of the Swedish Teamspeak, don't be an arsehole. And yeah if you happen to have any proof that KF recruit absolutely every new untagged guy we can, that would be nice too. If every untagged guy happens to meet the requirements and expresses interest in joining then maybe we do but that seems unlikely. I'll talk to Meraun about what he said there, I'm almost certain he wasn't threatening to ban an entire community for disagreeing though. Alright, few things here, you've made several claims here with no provided evidence to back them and have made several accusations against vague targets. You are claiming that Meraun (I think?) is "people that demand you follow their will and do as they ask", I've played with Meraun for several years and this is not a thing that he would do, I would ask for proof. You also imply that Meraun claims to speak for all of KF, this is ridiculous and I expect you know that, unless of course he has actually claimed that somewhere then by all means go ahead and show me. I would also point out that Meraun is merely a Server Admin of the Teamspeak and isn't actually responsible for its creation or offering to the Swedish faction. If he did threaten to ban someone from using it then please elaborate or perhaps even provide proof and we'll sort it out, that's not a thing that should be going on. I again think that this is complete bullshit by the way, its not how Meraun rolls. He's a chill guy who lives in a government funded swiss mountain castle. You also made a point about "these guys" accepting any and all recruits, assuming you mean the Kungliga Flottan then I refer you to our recruitment post where the requirements are detailed. If you know people who are members and dont meet the criteria then please let me know. Admittedly I've been fairly inactive in the game recently but I still keep abreast of goings on. I don't want to derail this thread into a "OMG FREE TEAMSPEAK CORRUPTION" madness but I felt some of the stuff claimed was a bit egregious. The Formation of the Kungliga Flottan It has been a time of turmoil in the waters of the Swedish Caribbean, great fleets have been laid waste, great clans scattered to the winds and great fortunes gone to waste. To forge a better future for our nation in the face of recent events, I am pleased to announce the formation of the Kungliga Flottan. The Kungliga Flottan is a coming together, an agreement between many of the communities that make up the Swedish faction to join ranks under a single banner for the greater good of our nation. Before this many of our communities were well knit, well organised and individual members were proficient sailors, however being separated into small groups left us vulnerable to overwhelming numbers. We aim to remedy the problem of size but maintain a good sense of community and organisation. The aim is to form a unified Swedish community no longer segregated into arbitrary factions. We aim to play together as a nation in all ways. The founding members and leadership will come from several of the Swedish communities that are already known around our waters and the leadership will periodically be reselected to prevent any old guard mentality. For the attention of the Swedish nation on PvP EU1. It is with great delight that WASP Inc. announce the grand opening of the Swedish nation public Teamspeak server. Credit for setting up the server goes to Zehtuka. The server is open to any and all members of the Swedish faction on EUPvP1, as well as representatives from all other major parties with the proper diplomatic permissions. We have set up clan specific channels for the groups we have been in contact with so far. If your clan is not represented in the Teamspeak and you would like your own section setting up, get in touch with any of the server admins, it wont be sorted instantly but in good time. Verification will be required for all people claiming to be leaders of clans as they will be the only non-staff with some administrative permissions. Faction members will also have to be verified in order to access the clan sections of the Teamspeak, this can be done by clan officers and leaders, they will otherwise need to be moved manually by officers/leaders. Abuse of these privileges (granting rights to communist spies for example) will be met with a public keelhauling. The Teamspeak is divided into public and private sections, the use of which is self explanatory upon joining the server. The server has a number of public channels set up that are free to be used by any Swedish player, more will be added should the need arise, just ask a Server Admin. Overall server administration will be handled by as small a group of people as possible to maintain full accountability in the event of douchebaggery and to limit any potential abuses. Special permissions will be granted to community leaders allowing them to administrate their own section of the server. This gave us a lot of early prestige as a new clan which we still maintain to this day in APB: Reloaded. While WASP Inc originates on the APB European servers, we later expanded our operations to the North American servers as demand for our gameplay grew.
