  1. A crouwdfunding has been launched to help repair the Amsterdam (moored in, you guassed it, Amsdterdam), a replica of an old VOC "Spiegelschip" indiaman merchant vessel.   2. I support this idea. Sometimes a ship feels a bit empty in the middle, adding some superstructure options can give the design a bit of flesh on the bones.
  3. Hi, I have a suggestion for the custom battles mode. Basically this is an optional "Treaty" setting. Here you can set maximum tonnage and gun calibre (to reflect the various historical interbellum naval treaties). It basically only needs a toggle, max tonnage slider and a max calibre slider, maybe per shipstype, maybe just for BB/BC. The reason for this is so that you can: 1. Make historical ships without getting swatted by some unbalanced AI built megaship. 2. Make it a bit more challenging to create a ship that fits tonnage and guns. This way you have to chose a bit more between speed, armour and guns. Even try to use more modern setups on an older hull (refit ships basically) Let me know what you think
  4. So basically a DLC ship would take up 0 slots standard. Easier to implement I think.
  5. So far I am really enjoying the new cruiser hulls. The flashfires are amazing to see. Might I make a little suggestion for a new cruiser hull: The Scharnhorst class armoured cruisers. The 8" casemates would really open up some new builds. The direction this project is taking is amazing, and as more things get added every time the detail and depth increases. Great replayability. The only thing that annoys me is the AI builds where you get BB's with over 20"belts going 30 knots at 1920 tech levels. Maybe setting maximums according to historical data per nation to help the ai make more "realistic" ships?
  6. It doesn't have to be an MMO, just some limited (4 player?) multiplayer component. Not too big, just enough.

  9. In which mission it happened? Design the H-class How much time passed since start of mission? Not much, first ranging shot were just fired. How many other missions were played before crashing? 4, I played both ironclad missions twice. How many ships were engaged for you and enemy (Many/Few/A specific nbr. if you remember)? Only the battleships were engaging. What was the distance between engaging ships (close/medium/long range)? Long range. Which speed boost you used? x10 Were there a lot of gun shootings, or few (e.g all main guns firing plus secondaries)? main guns (17"triple), secondairy, (8"triple and 5"triple) Have you ever experienced this error-message outside of a mission? If yes, where (Main Menu, Custom Battle etc.)? Nope.
  10. I usually load HE and watch the structure disappear. But yes, destroyed structure shouldn't stop shells.

  12. Where would you put the AMD RX 5700XT? It's a very capapble 1440p card, in the range of the 2070 series.

  15. Naval battles were never balanced. Arena style games: WoWS and WT. this game has a chance to do something that's not already been done. And with RTS campaign I mean turn based on campaign map, battles in real-time.
