    NPC traders do need warships with them as a rule. They are just way too easy to kill/cap.

    Cutters, Pickles, Lynxes, Princes, Yachts... How does changing the name of the ship make it any better? It's still a commuter car. Whatever ship it is the result is the same - without teleports everybody will be wasting their game time in transit between various ports to do their daily errands or trying to relocate, which results in far more Naval Commuting and far less Naval Action.

    If I'm replacing a string of teleports with a string of basic cutter trips to do the same tasks, it's going to be an empty basic cutter just trying to get from one port to another as fast as possible so I can check shop prices and my resource stacks etc. I don't even know what woods my ships in different ports are made out, or what guns they have on them, unless I teleport to check it. If somebody attacks my basic cutter looking for doubloons that just wastes even more time that I won't be able to put into a significant Naval Action activity.

    People spending their game time sailing around the map in Basic Cutters are NOT going to contribute to "content".

    Did you hit the "craft" button with your Farm showing on the right side of the Buildings and Crafting window, and not with Workshop selected? I wonder if your Workshop is conflicting with your Food Supplies Farm? The little window says "Building...Workshop", where you use Fish Meat and Salt to craft Food Supplies.

    I reached "Acupulco" and am currently sailing under Texas. Oddly there is no fishing under South America or in the Pacific, but there is fishing under North America.

    The ones for purchasing - those "You have bought 10 cannons for 50 guineas. (OK)" pop-ups are redundant, since the action has already occured and the window offers no option to change that action. It adds time to every action with the inventories. Overall I was hoping the long pauses while the warehouse/shop/hold lists are redrawn would be gone with the new interface, but it doesn't seem like they changed at all. The entire inventory of all those lists is only a tiny amount of information by modern standards, but the game can take more than a second to render these short lists of items. There is a lot of pause, pause, pause, with every action involving the inventories. I can even watch it render these lists item by item, like they're being transmitted by a 1970's modem.

    The protractor is amazingly accurate, and with the "cheat" of trader tool distances for triangulation I never get lost.
