No, they just sit there. Occasionally, when my units move they fire, my units fire, but no casualties are taken, then the unit goes back to being dormant. The only affect on the game they are having is as an obstacle slowing movement.

Hi, Playing the third battle, union left flank, I have a confederate unit stuck in my lines, but neither taking nor inflicting casualties. Everyone ignores firing on them and they don't fire, but they break up my line and seem to disrupt my troops moving through them. Has anyone else experienced this?
