  1. When are you going to implement map tools for simple navigation?
  2. I'd like to hear crew members screaming things like: "Those press gang bastards have done for me." "W...we......we're going to do WHAT?" "You're holding on to the wrong bloody line!" "You there, stop dangling from the yard arm." "When you said "Release your sheet" I thought you said something else. Sorry about the mess." "I'm afraid your tea on the deck will have to wait, Sir." "Bloody pirates. Right, better hide the silverware."
  3. I think your idea is too fantasy based, considering the depth of realism the Devs have put into and are continuing to put into the game.
  4. A huge well done to all involved and especially the victors of the tourny. Also a genuine thanks to all who participated to make this tourny happen, it was a pleasure to be involved.
  5. I hate to be blunt, but it's a TOURNAMENT. If you don't want to fight each other then it's a simple solution, one of the RDNN teams forfeits. Big fucking deal.

  8. When joining battle from OW with land in sight, the compass is 180 degrees out of alignment/orientation in battle. As in, heading north in OW, land on my port side....Join battle, land correctly positioned and drawn in accordance with the land that was visible at the time of joining battle on my port side, compass reads heading south. Should read heading north. I know, it's picky, but..... Love hugs and kisses. M G
  9. Aswell as the threads in this section that have details on the various clans, you can also ask in the in-game Nation chat, which clans are recruiting.
  10. The slider for the amount of units produced per *craft* should definitely be increased in my womble opinion.

"Like, if in real life i was moving fast, then was turning into the headwind i would lift my sails and all that jazz and use my momentum to get through it and turn" ...But that would prevent you from using the sails as a force vector, to push your stern and bow through the wind. It would make no sense to remove one of the greatest turning forces you have at your disposal. "But in this game that only helps slow my ship down, it is pretty stupid." No comment, just wanted to quote that.
  14. Will it ever be brought up to date and in line with the current damage modelling?
  15. Should ships be lost in the duel? No Any suggestions to changes to XP/rewards? No XP or monetary reward whatsoever. Leaderboards? Perhaps in the future, but not a priority in my womble opinion.

  17. I couldn't dis-agree more with the OP. This is an age of sail game. Shit takes time. Be thankful for an accelerated OW travel speed. I don't doubt that there are those that refuse to grind, so be it. The people that appreciate the time period and the devs desire to portray that as accurately as possible within limitations, are plentiful.
  18. With the advent of the new crew management system, would it be possible to enable us, the skippers, to decide exactly how many crew we had in each position? So instead of turning on or off a particular position/focus, we could have perhaps a + and - for each position, thereby enabling a fuller control of how many crew were in what position. It just seems a little strange to have something either on or off, with no way of controlling exactly how we work our crew. My thoughts. Just a tuppence worth. Lots of love and hugs M G
  19. I've reported this bug before, in fact early on in Ow testing. Hopefully it'll get sorted at some point, as it does render the Renomee very difficult to sail for us "On the deck 1st person view" types.
  20. What is the battle timer going to be reduced to, may I ask?
