So I were out patrol in for prey, when we comes across Captain of the Sea (fellow pyrite) in his brig. Capn is fighting a brig and a traders brig. I oder the crew to sail the yacht up and lend a hand.

Durin the course o the battle , the trade brig end up close to me and clapped in irons (facing into the wind) so Me n my bloodthirsty crew of cutthroats board and take her. its my 44 vs her 60, but we takes her and still has 33 men ready with pistols and cutlasses! Yarrr! A Prize for Pagan Pete!

Catain o the Sea, meanwhile, is still tangling with that navy brig. Both ships are shot to splinters so their armor is weak. The navy brig still has a crew of 120 men… That is till I snuck in and gave her a few broadsides of grape shot as she was reloading! Yarr!

The navy brig is now at 77 men. A good volley from Captain o the Sea knocks her stern armor to zero. I sees me chance! I turn and sail past her stern so close, we are trading paint! I yells out to me Bosun "Rolling front fire, Mr. Margeson!"

We BLAST the crew from 77 to 13 in one volley!!! Her decks are fair running with blood! The screams of the wounded echo in the air.

With a quick turn to port and spilling the wind from our sails, we turn and board her in short order. Her crew has no stomach for a fight, so its a quick capture and another prize for Pagan Pete!

yarr har har!

So I pulls into port feer the downtime. I get in me carriage to head down the the Sunken Norwegian for a pint o rum. BLAST IT! I have me a punctured wagon wheel.

So 'ere I sits at the carriage repair shop, getting me punctured wagon wheel fixed (ye didn't know you could puncture iron, did ye?)

But that be the jist of it. Here I sits with no rum and no plunderin'.

So last nights I was out with me shipmate Nasty Nate. We were a radin and a plunderin when we ran across a poor Ensign in his yacht. "Yo ho ho!" I says "Wots this?" So we run up and engage the poor lad. He were holding his own agasint Nate, but he didn't a see me a commin' from the leeward. Next thing he knows, olde Pagan Pete is tradin' paint with him and pushing him into the wind. He slows to a crawl and Pagan Pete's bloodthirsty band O cutthroats is climbing offer his gunwales!!! The little man put up a valiant effort, but his crew was no match for mine! It was a bloodbath.  Another Prize for Pagan Pete!

I also picked me up a fast ship! over 18 knots!

Yarr, is me carriage fixed yet?

So me and me mate, Nasty Nate, were sailing 'on the account' He in his Yacht, and me in my Privateer ~Blasphemy~. We espied and engaged a traders cutter and its two escorting ships. I had just finished boarding and capturing one of the escorts, when Nasty Nate yells over at me and says.

"Avast! Pete! We've got company!!!"

"What and where, Nate?" I shouted over the din of cannon fire.

"Lieutenant Krank sailing on a brig!"

'Damn', I thinks. 'This ruins out nice haul.'

"You wanna run, or fight?" Nate asks. "We can blast his sails at long range, we haves us the weather gauge!"

"So we do!" I replied to him.

I told me signal man to send Krank a message: "You'll regret this, you flea infested bilge rat!"

So we line up and start raining shot into his rigging from over 1000 yards. We are scoring hit after hit, while he lands none!

Lieutenant  Krank's sails start to get ragged in short order. He must have realized that if he didn't get out of this soon, he would get out of this at all, fore he turns and makes a run for it.

Twas a clever move, he put the two remaing ships between him and us to make his escape, and ran home with his pride bruised and his tail between his legs...

We quickly dispatched the remaining vessels and turned a tidy profit.

Pyrate Resource master list

I were haven a chin-wag with Flavalicious in port, an he brought up the need for us to get a list of pyrite port resources, fer crafting and wot not. I recon that there is a mighty fine idear, and a mug o rum to him!

[_]P

PM me info on any pirate ports where you KNOW what they produce. Ill make a master list and update it as i hear from ye… Tomorrow, cause its late and I had a little drink about an hour ago, and its gone right to my head...

PS Its important to list only what the port produces, not what is fer sale. We don't want one of our comrades getting his neck stretched on account of him sail in to a port needlessly for wot it aint got.

Took FOUR ships in one battle, One was a player to boot!

Lt. Huliotkd, Joined in and snuck up on olde Pete, just as we were about to board and take the escort ship (Lynx).
I pulls away just in time to defend me ship, The Falcon (Privateer). Lt. Hulio (cutter) puts some chain in me rigging. So i put some chain inter his rigging, We traded like this once more.

Then I pull up astern of him, his stern catches on me bow and rides up! His bowsprit be in the water! Needless to say, he were slowing mighty quick-like. I midge the rudder right, and sliced up along side of her.

I gave there order to throw the hooks and we pull her in, sharpish!

The boarding action was a complete surprise to him and his crew! My bloodthirsty cutthroats pur outer his gunwales and the fight is over in moments! I list 3 men to his 40!

Havin dealt with Lt. Hulio's interloping in our affairs, I proceeded to take the remaining three ships in short order.

Got some good loot to boot! Enougnh so that we bought Rum for all at the tavern!

Yarrr!!!!

PS, I respect Lt. Huilotkd for having the brass tacks to try and hang me n my crew.

Yarrr Pete.  Took 100 ingots off your hand, ill be back for more.  On that note, I crafted a BLUE quality pickle last night.  Blue speed, and yellow build strength i believe, if you want it id let it go for a good price, or perhaps be trading yee some iron for it?  Ill be on in the evening tommorow and perhaps we can strike an accord.  And if you want direct sales, and your willing to travel a bit farther, perhaps we can set something up to purchase directly from yee and have you deliver it to me workshop?

So I were on the trail of a Danish trade snow under command of a Lieutenant. He were escorted by a commander in a frigate . This Commander Dragon fellow came after me buddy Nate earlier is that very same frigate.

So as I try to separate the tradeship from her escort, the Frigate manages to get me into battle….

He as 361 men in his Frigate, to my 66 in me Privateer, the Blasphemy. We starts out at over 1,000yds and trade shots at one another sails a few times, but he as the weather gauge on me.  As the battle progresses however, I manage to sail be ship to get the long way round him and I takes the weather gauge from him! Arrr!

At this point, there dis nothing he can so to draw closer to me, and I am doing as much harm to him as he is to me. He has more guns, by my fire is more effective and we have about the same amount of sails.

Knowing that he is outmaneuvered, he turns his frigate with the wind, and challenges me to fight him in his Navy Brig.

Apparently he thinks I can't do the exact same thing to a navy Brig.

Superior seamanship won that battle!

Although, the trade ship did get away. Arrr. In that, at least, he were successful in his duty.

So, I were out at sea "On the account". We sails past a battle involving a Pyrate who is clearly takin a hapless trade ship.

I got a lil further south and take out a cutter. After which, I look up at that other battle and Im surprised to see it STILL raging. Now however, the BR is not in the favor of the pyrates!

"This will not do!" I says,  "Helmsman, Bring the ship about! Botswain, Prepare for battle!"

We sail in to join the fray...

its a trade brig, and FOUR lynxes picking on a snow, captained by none other that me mate, "One Eyed" Willy Drummond!!

He raises the signal flags; "Thank god yer here Pete, get those two ships."

"Aye!" we signal.

Now with the two of us working together, Willy in his snow, and me in me privateer, the Bruja, we now make short work of the four lynxes and then sandwich the brig to bring her to a halt. "One-eyed" Willy boards her and takes her.

The profits were good, and a bad situation were narrowly avoided. We sailed back triumphantly to celebrate with Rum and Wenches!

Yarrr har har!
