are you sure they would call her a 5th rate`?

50+ guns? thatll be a 4th rate already. Wouldnt she?

Well i don't really want to start new threads about one ship that's why i threw her in here!

If you feel that she doesnt belong here feel free to do whatever you feel it is best :)

Yes you are right. They are a bit "young" as you say.

Hmm they are from the Atlas du Genie Maritime? I didnt know that.I just found them randomly.Their lines might prove useful.

Anyway i will just leave them kicking around instead of deleting them but i will think twice before posting any similar dated ships.

Just for fun, the sitership of la Reine Blanche.

L'Alceste
Frigate of the 2nd rank of 52-guns.

Between 1828 and 1853 France built 14 frigates of the 2nd rank.

Three will be transformed into steam frigate. Between 1846 and 1847 9 frigates will be built with a steam engine.

So only 11 frigates will sailboats and l’Alceste is one.

The plans are made by Leroux. (Same of la Reine Blance)

Start of construction: 1828
