SirSamuelHood
She was a full first rate by guns alone, but that design makes her look incredibly sleek and probably shaved a lot off of her weight and improved handling. A beautiful design. I had never considered a flush-decked ship of the line before, and it certainly looks very interesting.
Pada
Costed 120£mil to build, was 1 year in service and later sold for 25£. Worth it.
Talos
She's also a freshwater laker not designed for use on the open ocean. Besides a total lack of water stowage (since you can just lower a bucket alongside on the lake) and limited stores, I do believe she was constructed with few knees and was pretty lightly-built for a ship of the line. Beautiful ship, she really is, but I don't see much use for her unless we get a fresh water map.
maturin
So much deadrise... I guess depth wasn't considered a problem.
Arvenski
That really blunt bow takes away from her appearance, though, if you ask me...
Samuel Smith
On 13.1.2016 at 10:12 PM, BuccaneerFlint said: The big reason was for HMS St Lawrence never saw action, because her presence on the lake deterred the U.S. fleet from setting sail. So, actually her mission was a success although the United States won. the us didnt win the war of 1812 they failed as they declared war on britain not the other way around, second the british sacked the Us capital so who won? the us lost most of their trade at the time as the royal navy essentially shut down us trade. Would be nice with the hms St. Lawrence in the game. Edited August 15, 2017 by Samuel Smith wanted to add a bit
