The ‘Vernon’ was built at Woolwich Dockyard and measured 176 feet in length by 44 feet in the beam and a tonnage of 1511. She was the first large ship designed by William Symonds in 1831. HMS Vernon was a frigate that saw active service in home waters, the Americas and the East Indies between 1832 and 1848. I am unconvinced about adding post war ships It would be broken OP, a 74 would have trouble fending this thing off even in a broadside duel. In the drawing there is a gun deck below the stern gallery. Yeah bulwarks don't match either but as you say it's not an issue, they may have been added later. Now that you mention it, all the figures in the painting seem to be standing on top of the weather deck bulwarks as if there was another deck there.
