Good morning.

Under the permission of the Lord ADMIN, I created this post to have all the information about the spanish ships well organized and put it in order to enable that the devs can get the information clearly. Of course I would add the names of people who provided that information and also always provide links to topics, if I forget to someone, please Tell me ;) .

Please, if someone find new information about spanish ships, put in the old post (HERE), and I add to this.

Second Rate

90 to 100 guns

***Rayo Class (Rayo, Real Fénix)

***Rayo Class (Rayo, Real Fénix)

The Rayo class was built like 80 guns ship, but the Rayo in 1803, was modificated like a 100 guns ship (the same way than the Santisima Trinidad); so it´s one of the few with these weapons. When he was modificated like a 100 guns, He lost turn trim and speed, but he kept resistance that it was high. The other one, kept his appearance like a 80 guns ship

Shipyard: La Habana

Service Time: Rayo (1749 -- 1805), Real Fénix (1749 -- 1780)

Length: 60,76m

Displacement3000t

Weapons: 100(30 a 36lbs, 32 a 24lbs, 30 a 8lbs, 18 a 8lbs, 4 carronades a 24lbs, 4 Howitzer a 4lbs)
