hello all: I have purchased the game taking advantage of the Christmas sale , I can not play it since I only get a black screen when launched and must re boot my pc , any ideas ? ty very much regards leo96 my pc is as follows : AMD FX 8350 MOBO: ASUS CROSSHAIR V FORMULA Z WITH 32 GB OF RAM WITH 1.33 MHZ STICKS GPU IS SAPPHIRE R9 280X 3GB OC EDITION ( THE DRIVERS ARE UP TO DATE ) ty regards

great game, when it works properly (though i do have a few general suggestions about playability and realism). i have os 10.6.8 mac desk top. 3.06 GHz intel core 2 duo 2 gb 800 mhz ddr sdram standard mac mouse (no right click). i tried to save a game and name it "autosave." the game crashed. black screen. had to hard restart. tried to play the game a second time. got to the main menu. chose continue (now it seems to be an option). started the game. then it crashed yet this time my computer was still working because my itunes were continuing to play. mouse cursor moved, left and right arrows moved the cursor, but nothing else. so, had to hard restart a second time. haven't tried the game since. help.

So ever since the Unity 5 update my game has been randomly crashing displaying only black screen sometimes kicking me out to desktop but i can still hear the sound of the game running the cannons firing etc.. and even though i see the game in the task bar when i try to alt-tab to it (or switch from the task manager) it doesn't appear ocasionally when i'm getting out to destop fast enough i see a pop-up message that the Nvidia kernerl driver has crashed and recovered .. this never happened before the unity 5 update and now it's happnening atleast 5 times per day completly randomly sometimes few times in a row both in battle and OW and the only thing i can do is end process from task manager and relogin fast the nvidia popup reads "Display driver Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver Version *numbers numbers* stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

i installed the new patch today, 2/24/15. after installing, several issues came up. first, i could not continue any previously saved games. when i hit continue all that came up on the screen was the map. fields, farms, orchards, roads, etc. no data. no units. no anything else. second, after trying two times to continue a game i initiated a new game. after playing the new game for about 5 minutes the entire screen went black, then i had to hard restart. third, after trying a second time to start a new game, i played that game for about 5 minutes and same thing, black screen, no response, hard restart. this game has so much potential if all the bugs can be worked out. until they are, it's very frustrating and perhaps not worth playing.
