  1. Hey admins out of curiosity are all events going to be on saturday? due to time zone/other issues, i can't play saturday at all. will sunday events be making an appearance?
  2. i seem to have solved it by forcing the Client_.exe to also be set to high power graphics. not sure why that helped
  3. so as i mentioned earlier I already did all this. My switching has client.exe set to the non integrated card. there is still a slowdown
  4. How is it possible to disable the integrated card. I have auto switching and instructed my computer to specifically use my discrete card for the game. I'm not sure it can be fully disabled
  5. So out of curiosity, client.exe needs to be running on the graphics card and that is the only process correct?

  9. After todays mini patch my framerate has dropped from 30ish on ultra settings to 25ish on the lowest. I have an NVIDIA gtx 870 with 3gb of ddr5 ram. Has anyone else experienced this drop and is there a fix?
  10. firstly, I want to say I sincerely hope the officer implementation is at an early stage... to be honest I was hoping for a more in depth system rather than just an extra perk. something like having all the officer slots that would normally appear and random officers with strengths and personality similar maybe to total war systems in Rome and have the possibility of them getting shot in battle. Nevertheless the system we have now i have a few perks to suggest as well. crafting officer perk require 1 less note per level or even better yet make another level above exceptional only accessible via this perk. make this cost all 10 lvls independent commander can ship a ship back to port immediately after capture, you still need to pick him and the crew back up from the port you shipped it to. fire as you bear (this would be amazing for large port battles when you are trying to fight at the same time as not slamming into 50 other ships...) have an option to turn on fire as you bear so the ai officer controls when the guns fire off.

  12. i'd like to be able to rename a character without having to start from scratch if possible. Any chance this can be implemented?
  13. The game is burning a lot of people out with the lack of anything to do. I had as an idea for example that once a week you have a treasure fleet. once a weekend a Spanish treasure galleon fleet heavily armed and escorted will take a random route over the open ocean with 10 mill or some such in gold. Anybody could enter the battle(all nations at the same time). and if the ships sink you get nothing but if captured anyone in the battle from your side gets a share. It would force players to scout and nations would be at each others throat. it would generate a lot of combat and get people sailing out far away from base camp.
