  1. No worries!!
  2. These are all really great pieces.
  3. First off, long time no see! We just finished track at the high school I work at so I have been pretty busy with that. This is an off the wall topic, but one I enjoy. What is everyone's favorite piece of Civil War Art? My personal favorite at the moment is "High Water Mark" by Don Troiani. I love everything about it from the actual painting to to story behind it. The leadership Gen. Armistead showed leading his brigade into the Union line at Gettyburg is amazing. Also, the fact that some say this is the where the South almost won the war is something I find very interesting.
  4. Is that rifles for Stand Watie?
  5. I'll check some of these out!
  6. Really? I'm enjoying it so far. I'm a fan of his work. I like it because it's the war in one book under 1000 pages. Rather than 3 volumes and 5000 pages.
  7. Anyone reading or have read some good civil war books? I apologize for bringing up books in a game board, but I love reading this topic. I'm currently tackling James McPherson's Battle Cry of Freedom. I own several McPherson books, and they are solid.
  8. That is a good idea. It's just troublesome when you send a division into battle and half way through you lose a Major General and you can really tell how or where.
  9. I have a few times, and I agree that it would be difficult. Just a thought to keep the field organized. I just don't like it when I have all of 1st division over here and the game send a brigade to another spot on the map.
  10. Is hoping for personalizing regiments too much?
  11. Hello, all! Major Grigg, here. I'm a high school history teacher and army brat, hence the name and emblem. I am relatively new to the game, and brand new to the board. What are your opinions and ideas of having divisional commanders on the field like corps commanders? For me it would be nice to relocate them so they don't get killed so easily.
  12. Yes, the American-Mexican War would be epic. Just covered that in my world history class not too long ago!
  13. I definitely fall under the category of casually playing while drinking a beer or 10. Colonel is the way to go.
  14. I would love to see an American Revolution of this game. Something about those red coats in lined infantry marching to drum and fife takes me to a place where I feel like I'm actually there! Of course I would command the Continentall Army. 'Merica.
