  1. Now that Legends is here, can we please get rid of capture circles and go back to the more realistic attacking/defending forts?

  4. What I hate is having to craft effing repairs just to participate in a PVP battle. Bring back the old days where shops sell repairs!
  5. Players have AI fleets, players have forts, and now players have safe zones. Any player that likes to role play as a trader hunter has left the game.

  10. @admin Please stick to your guns on complete removal of TPs. With partial removal of tps you are again trying to please everyone and that helps no one. Remember, the 300 players on the server and the vocal ones on the forums are the minority of players as many more have bought this game. If people want fast travel, let them wait for NA Arena game, or whatever you have in the works. Please stick to your guns.
  11. Steam doesn't allow alts. If they did you could play multiple copies of the game under one account. It's just people work around it with alts just like they do here.
  12. It seems like all the idiots that want forever open battles are those that feel it should be safe to hunt in enemy waters with rates. Lmao.
  13. Been playing since before the creation of PvP2 and being from North America, I am interested in creating a character on PvP2. However I am afraid of deleting my PvP1 character. If I delete my character on PvP2 does it effect the character of the same name on PvP1?
  14. Total Wipe Make resources more available everywhere (mainly for the next reason) Remove teleports between outposts so nations have to fight on fronts. If you want to build hostility at a distant port, you have to sail your SOL there. Remove pirate ports, let their starting port be La Tortue but let them raid ports which allows them to use the port for 3 days Add collections, like the rare fish which can be only found in certain areas of the map, which when completed can be turned in for rare ships, upgrades, paints. Bring expeditions, as suggested a couple years ago, for rare items to collect for a colection: while sitting outside a port you can send out an expedition and you have to return to that port after a certain time to pick up your crew. (Anyone with other collection suggestions, please add) More PVE content such as daily patrols & blockades at each port that can be only done 1/day for admirality points (PvE'rs please suggest more mission types), Admirality points gained for open world PVP, being on the winning side in a PVP match on the OS gives you points based on damage done and the points are scaled based on BR so even fights or fights won that were not in your favor give more points. There is a daily limit on the points you can get. Admirality store for ships, paints, and upgrades. Remove crafting of SoLs. SoLs can only be bought through admirality store. Remove 2nd circle pulling in of AI fleets Make the ability to have a fleet a 6 point officer perk for anyone that is over the 3rd rank Remove map coordinates but make an officer perk which allows players to see the coordinates (since they are needed for shipwrecks and some players want them) Change the signal perk so that the battle stays open until the player with the perk leaves the battle, is sunk, or surrenders. No BR restrictions. Get rid of PVP events or link them to raising hostility. This list is not final and will probably be edited to add more
  15. I'd like to see removal of crafting SOLs replaced by some sort of national only admiralty system. You have to earn the right to commission an SOL through raising hostility, port battles, and protecting your home waters. You can request your SOL make at your nations capital and once you earn your commission you can pick it up at your capital. Through a hidden leaderboard system only 1 or 2 players from each nation would be able to commission a first rate. If captured by other players, you must reapply and there is a possibility of your commission being taken away by the admiralty office. I would like to see removal of anyone being able to dock & store anything but trade ships, except for maybe pirates, at free towns.
  16. Just a suggestions for ROE If you are attacking a player, let the pull circle bring in all area AI, but if you are just attacking an AI, make other AI (and players maybe) in pull circle immune to being pulled in.
  17. Since there are so many complaints about not enough players online & not finding battles in the OW, why not create an area for those interested in PVP to fight. If you want to battle without searching, and are not interested in small or large battles, set up an outpost in La Tortue. In that pirate area there will be no alliances, Brits can fight U.S, for example. Then, if you cannot find OW battles, tp to your outpost there. Just a suggestion. :/
  18. SORRY was still US Stars & Stripes when the pacts with Denmark & Spain were made. That was the doing of the pirate coalition, made up of KOTO, RUBLI and a few others. ALL HAIL King Kuthera! Who doesn't even play the game anymore.
  19. Doesn't capturing a ship through boarding kill all crew? How are you supposed to add crew through capture?
  20. Right now, ports are mere dots on a map. They lack meaning. In this post, please share ideas to help give ports more meaning. Here is mine. Pirate raiding and national capture destroys all outposts, ships, structures permanently! Nationals cannot have outposts or shipyards in Freetowns. They can have dockyards only, to store ships, with a 1 ship limit, and can use the delivery system to deliver goods to their national ports. Pirates have no ports, they can only have outposts in free towns with the ability to have a level 2 shipyard at the free town outposts. Pirates in not a selectable faction at start. Pirate port raiding is like pbs with the exception that they cannot capture the port, only get some resources and upgrades, which from the raiding screen can be delivered to their outposts, and their is a limit to the number of SOLs that nats can bring to defend as pirates are limited to frigates. This is only a start as it may make a few ports for nations very important. Please post your ideas.
  21. Pirates do not have ports, they operate out of free towns only, with their home base being La Tortue. As they do not have ports, they cannot capture ports.
  22. Nats, stop SORRY bashing. They are a large clan of active players. And with any game, large clans are bound to have trolls.

I'm for a skirmish area, no ship loss and no reward (although it isn't realistic and many are for realism) But it can be hard to find a duel without a gank on the ow Would two rooms be possible? 1 skirmish area & 1 duel ring where you do lose a dur but also get XP & gold similar to what you would get if battling on the open world. And please no timer like in the small battles, you either sink, get captured, or escape If possible please also remove the timer on the small battles. In addition, forget leaderboards, IMO they are not needed.
