Those hotzones being right outside his capitol port and every other port the pirates have decided not to bother with because they don't need to capture any ships at all. They just need to farm passive conquest marks and they are the most powerful nation in the game. Right now NA has some serious structural issues that need to be resolved even more than a tutorial or marginal % refits.

Even so, to respond to hostility being raised by new clans in the 'Newb Area' of shallow water ports in the Bahamas with setting a midnight lineship battle against a foe they know doesn't have the numbers to turn out shows they are not at all interested in PvP or any of the reasons the spew, its all lies to hide for some reason the fact they just want the port and its woods. Why lie about it?

Bottom line is this is a RvR game, so 1 clan of newbs raising hostility against West End while all t he big clans are across the gulf is one thing and Black knows it. So they start a Lineship battle in Savannah at midnight US time knowing full well thats a girl move. Because they want it and no other reason...then all the lying and blah blah blah reasons. Its exactly what we heard from the Brits and not very 'pirate' at all. And yes...Black has MANY accounts that are shared with Brits and that has been public knowledge for some time. More fake reasons. FFS is that how EVERY pseudowar is going to be in PvP Global? one guy says something in chat and 'ooh our nation must declare war' or whatever. If you want something you can take, just take it and own it like a man. This is girly stuff. Everyone knows the Pirate Faction is just a wing of GB on Global and hostility on one port does not a 'war' make. Black being very two-faced is the issue and you have lost respect from alot of folks who actually considered you a 'legit' pirate clan for some reason. So thats the good news.

The pirate alts are confirmed from when they were in US, now they work for GB. Name calling is only if you have no clue where your own name comes from...in that case choke yourself. If only we were. As I have been trying to explain to Mr Queers and Steers US and GB are not actually going to be fighting eachother. This is really TF and VCO ONLY (well plus their pirate alts helping) retaking all those ports for the marks. They were the ones who took them for US in the first place. The most recent map is correct as far as US territory in that its just the east coast down to FL. US has no one to rub borders with other than the Pirates unfortunately unless GB or US takes the Bahamas or the rest of FL...which is unlikely it seems with so many pirates (I'm assuming they are alts) working with GB. So no, this war is not good for anyone EXCEPT TF and VCO...it was the very reason they left US after they realized they couldn't come in and browbeat all the US clans like they did on PvP1 and they got sad. Good news is in 2 weeks non of this will matter.

Mabe I need to say the same thing a different way. The gulf ports were mainly captured by TF and VCO and the wanted to set up there, however pirates in FL made their life hard on carebears, so the jumped ship to GB to take those ports back, farm more conquest in the process, and avoid those pirates in FL so they can now trade north to south and be 'Britannias army in the North'. Starting at the capitol and expanding out is EXACTLY what the bulk of US has been doing and we are now smack up against pirate ports only. So yeah, the only real enemy the US has atm are pirates and themselves. A little more clear?

You forgot to factor the only US people that green arrow in the gulf represents are the very two clans that swapped, so really you are just mapping the new trade lanes for VCO and TF to carebear while the pirates in FL and Bahamas act as a buffer and keep US away. The only people the US are in position to fight right now are the pirates unfortunately.

Deny, Deflect, Counteraccuse. Not very becoming. My statement remains true. The brits can't handle the pirates that seperate US and brit waters. This is just a resource farming grab to get gulf resources without having to deal with FL pirates, you can now sail S and afk it safely. Good luck.

Be at least a little honest with yourselves. The brits can't even get past the Pirates to get to US waters, the Gulf will be undefended anyway and they just want to farm in peace without worrying about pirates in FL and Bahamas. This war is abit phony and only lasts until the gulf farming ports are taken. Be honest at least if you can't be loyal.

Heh, by talks you mean you made arrangements for two US clans to swap allegiance in exchange for them taking back the US ports in the Gulf...and they were not quiet about it. Poor show of skulduggery Britain.

I can't claim to be an expert in the matter, but based on what I have read on famous duels between frigates, brigs and such it seems if a captain wanted to target rigging they used disabling shot such as is already in the game. Demasting was often a side effect of volley fire to the hull of the ship and the inherent inaccuracy of such broadsides in combat conditions. In other words, demasting was something that happened sometimes over time of firing round shot along the decks or broadsides at the hull, the ships could take so much punishment and wooden ships so rarely actually sank that eventually everything above deck would be leveled along with the swiss cheese of a hull if my memory serves.
